ANNODEs are on a A2A network communicating directly. Annode-to-Annode (A2A). ANNE stores relons. For files this is author, tags, dates, indexing and meta data about connecting the file asset into the graph. The actual file is not in the hypergraph but is available via A2A or a direct external link. Files can be securely transferred between participating ANNODEs using ANTOR, a bit-torrent, onion-routing hybrid. No prying eyes know what ant chunks are being transferred or what files are being stored on individual ANNODES. A2A file transfers using ANTOR are only available for use with files that are in the ANNE-worldview. It is inteded as support for neurons in the hypergraph.

A2A with ANTOR and the ANNE file library will lead to ANNE-CDNs that gather files referenced in the ANNE hypergraph and serve them to their users. This can be used in combination with the ANNODE's handling of "private" or "local only" files and data that is not on ANNE. This data is specific to the ANNODE itself and can be used by the ANNODE operator only or exposed to users who are allowed to use that ANNODE.
