ANNE Wiki Getting Started
The very first step to using ANNE is to create an account called an NID and onboard it for it to be active, onboarding registers the NID on the blockchain and links it to your PUBKEY. Once you have onboarded your NID you will also need to create alias and ID type neurons for that NID.
Create New NID
To create a new NID go to the official ANNE website and click the A-ON button.
You will be prompted to set a memorable pin as shown below.
Next, enter your pin to login to the web wallet.
Next, Click the generate random seed button.
Next, click the copy to clipboard buttons and save your SEED and NID to a secure place.
Next, Now that you have saved your seed securely, click the create new account button.
You have now generated a new keypair and NID, however your account must still be onboarded before it can be used. Onboarding registers your NID with your PUBKEY on-chain making the NID known to the network. Continue below and be sure to keep your secret in a very secure place.
IMPORTANT: If you lose your secret your NID and coins will be unrecoverable.
